Journalists of various media outlets have been holding rallies across Georgia to protest what they see as the inaction of law enforcement in protecting media professionals on July 5.
Yesterday reporters affronted ruling Georgian Dream members heading to Mtatsminda Park in Tbilisi for the presentation of Kakha Kaladze’s candidacy for a second term as the mayor of Tbilisi, with demands of repercussions for the violent individuals who attacked media professionals on July 5.
Reporters involved in the series of protests have demanded the resignation of Garibashvili.
