Wizz Air to resume flights from Kutaisi to 6 more new destinations starting July 1

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will resume flights to six new destinations from Georgia’s western Kutaisi International Airport starting July 1 after an eleven-month pause.

The six new destinations are: Athens, Thessaloniki, Memmingen, Milan, Prague and Wroclaw.

In total, Wizz Air will operate flights to 14 destinations in nine countries 24 times a week.

Wizz Air suspended flights from Kutaisi in July 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has been operating in Georgia since 2012. It expanded in 2016, after the establishment of the base in Kutaisi International Airport.
