Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air will add new routes from Georgia’s Kutaisi International Airport to eight European cities, announces the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.
This summer Wizz Air will launch flights to Eindhoven (Netherlands), Bari (Italy), Copenhagen (Denmark), Basel (Switzerland), Tallinn (Estonia), Brussels (Belgium), Gdansk (Poland) and Krakow.
The flights will be carried out with A320 and A321 aircrafts.
Wizz Air has been carrying out flights on the Georgian aviation market since it opened its first Caucasian base in Kutaisi in September 2016.
As for Kutaisi Airport, a new terminal is being built that is expected to triple the capacity of the airport. Construction of a new terminal is due to be completed by the end of 2019.
