Georgia reports 779 new cases of coronavirus, 959 recoveries, 23 deaths

Georgia has reported 779 new cases of coronavirus, 959 recoveries and 23 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

30,026 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,527 of the 30,026 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,999 were PCR tests. 

The country has had 347,762 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

3.06 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

331,680 of the 347,762 patients have recovered, while 4,876 have died from the virus.

Currently 11,180 individuals remain infected with Covid-19. 

The new 779 cases were recorded in: 

• Tbilisi - 401 cases 
• Adjara - 69 cases 
• Imereti - 66 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 46 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 24 cases 
• Guria - 15 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 69 cases 
• Kakheti - 37 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 20 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 24 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 8 cases

3,516 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 776 of the 3,516 patients are in critical condition. 207 of the 776 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

17,592 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 5,097,000 tests have been conduceted in the country so far.
