Georgia reports 954 new cases of coronavirus, 896 recoveries, 30 deaths

Georgia has reported 954 new cases of coronavirus, 896 recoveries and 30 deaths in the past 24 hours.
30,603 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 18,444 of the 30,603 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12,159 were PCR tests.
The country has had 346,150 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
3.23 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
329,516 of the 346,150 patients have recovered, while 4,834 have died from the virus.

- Tbilisi - 509 cases
- Adjara - 82 cases
- Imereti - 99 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 67 cases
- Shida Kartli - 33 cases
- Guria - 9 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 88 cases
- Kakheti - 30 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 24 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 11 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 2 cases

3,541 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 789 of the 3,541 patients are in critical condition. 223 of the 789 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
19,104 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 5,059,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
Georgia will receive 200,000 doses of two Chinese vaccines this Saturday, Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze announced earlier today. Georgia bought 100,000 doses of the Chinese Sinopharm vaccine, while another 100,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine were gifted by China to Georgia.
Mass Covid-19 immunisation is expected to start in Georgia in July, announces Head of the Georgian National Centre for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze, adding that it does not mean that getting the vaccination against coronavirus will become mandatory.
