Georgia reports 833 new cases of coronavirus, 1,205 recoveries, 19 deaths

Georgia has reported 833 new cases of coronavirus, 1,205 recoveries and 19 deaths in the past 24 hours.
28,191 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 16,183 of the 28,191 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12,008 were PCR tests.
The country has had 346,983 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
3.16 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
330,721 of the 346,983 patients have recovered, while 4,853 have died from the virus.

The new 833 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 431 cases
- Adjara - 63 cases
- Imereti - 78 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 46 cases
- Shida Kartli - 32 cases
- Guria - 15 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 76 cases
- Kakheti - 53 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 13 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 15 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 11 cases

3,490 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 741 of the 3,490 patients are in critical condition. 213 of the 741 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
18,007 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 5,067,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
The first flow of vaccinated tourists will appear in Georgia in the second half of March, Economy Minister Natia Turnava said earlier today.
Azerbaijani low-cost Buta Airways will start to operate a Baku-Tbilisi-Baku flight three times a week starting in mid-March, Economy Minister Natia Turnava said earlier today. Other low-cost companies which will start operating flights in Georgia from mid-March are Kazakh air carriers Air Astana and FlyArystan.
Georgia has reported 954 new cases of coronavirus, 896 recoveries and 30 deaths in the past 24 hours. 30,603 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 18,444 of the 30,603 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12,159 were PCR tests. The country has had 346,150 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 3.23 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
After more than a year-long closure due to the coronavirus pandemic Georgia has today opened its land borders. Individuals are admitted through the land borders of Georgia with evidence of full vaccination and negative PCR test results or alternatively only with a negative PCR test result taken within the last 72 hours. A follow up test three days after entry must also be taken.
Georgia has reported 779 new cases of coronavirus, 959 recoveries and 23 deaths in the past 24 hours. 30,026 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,527 of the 30,026 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,999 were PCR tests. The country has had 347,762 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 3.06 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
