Georgia reports 723 new Covid-19 cases, 1,407 recoveries, 18 deaths

Georgia has reported 723 new cases of the coronavirus after conducting 11,062 PCR tests and 14,238 rapid tests over the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,407 individuals have recovered, while 18 infected patients have died. 

Out of the 723 new cases:

  • 403 were reported in Tbilisi
  • 77 - in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti
  • 55 - in Imereti
  • 52 - in Kvemo Kartli
  • 51 - in Adjara
  • 36 - in Kakheti
  • 19 - in Shida Kartli and Guria each
  • six - in Mtskheta-Mtianeti
  • four - in Samtskhe-Javakheti 
  • one - in Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti.

As of now the number of total confirmed cases in Georgia since last February stands at 343,603, including 326,423 recoveries, 4,757 deaths and 12,397 active cases.

3,815 people are in hospitals, 661 - in specialised hotels, 7,921 patients undergo treatment at home, while 22,685 individuals are in self-isolation.
