Georgia reports 508 new cases of coronavirus of 24,358 tests

Georgia has reported 508 new cases of coronavirus, 1,481 recoveries and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours.
24,358 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 12,320 of the 24,358 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 12,038 were PCR tests.
The country has had 340,838 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
3.77 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.
323,409 of the 340,838 patients have recovered, while 4,699 have died from the virus.

- Tbilisi - 252 cases
- Adjara - 61 cases
- Imereti - 35 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 42 cases
- Shida Kartli - 20 cases
- Guria - 9 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 48 cases
- Kakheti - 22 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 14 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 3 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 2 cases

3,965 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 913 of the 3,965 patients are in critical condition. 219 of the 913 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
23,818 individuals are in self-isolation.
More than 4,855,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
Georgia has reported 1,015 new cases of coronavirus, 1,151 recoveries and 28 deaths in the past 24 hours. In total, 39,697 tests have been conducted around the country of which 25,325 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,372 were PCR tests.

Georgia has reported five cases of the Indian variant of Covid-19, the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) announces. It further says that the five travellers, who have tested positive for the Indian variant, have been identified and sent to isolation.
