Georgia reports 1,354 new cases of coronavirus of 30,456 tests

Georgia has reported 1,354 new cases of coronavirus, 821 recoveries and 15 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

30,456 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 21,052 of the 30,456 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 9,404 were PCR tests.

The country has had 339,315 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

3.86 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

320,777 of the 339,315 patients have recovered, while 4,654 have died from the virus.

Currently 13,858 individuals remain infected with Covid-19.

• Tbilisi - 669 cases 
• Adjara - 114 cases 
• Imereti - 184 cases
• Kvemo Kartli - 78 cases 
• Shida Kartli - 43 cases 
• Guria - 15 cases 
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 129 cases 
• Kakheti - 56 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 50 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti - 11 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 5 cases

4,094 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 892 of the 4,094 patients are in critical condition. 227 of the 892 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

25,360 individuals are in self-isolation.

More than 4,791,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
