Georgia reports 388 new cases of coronavirus of 9,598 tests

Georgia has reported 388 new cases of coronavirus, 1,357 recoveries and 17 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

9,598 tests have been conducted around the country on the weekend. 5,095 of the 9,598 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 4,503 were PCR tests. 

The country has had 337,961 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020. 

3.99 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

319,956 of the 337,961 patients have recovered, while 4,639 have died from the virus.

  • Tbilisi - 208 cases 
  • Adjara - 50 cases 
  • Imereti - 24 cases
  • Kvemo Kartli - 19 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 12 cases 
  • Guria - 4 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 33 cases 
  • Kakheti - 25 cases
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 4 cases
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 6 cases
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 3 cases

4,161 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 892 of the 4,161 patients are in critical condition. 230 of the 892 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

25,404 individuals are in self-isolation.

4,761,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
