Police have fined two Covid-infected taxi drivers for violating self-isolation rules in Tbilisi.
The Georgian Interior Ministry reported that a taxi driver identified only as G.P. was fined while driving a car at Tseronisi street, while another taxi driver identified only as Z.S. was driving a car with a taxi sign at Dadiani street in Tbilisi.
The ministry reported that G.P. has been registered as Covid-infected since January 5, while Z.S. has been registered as Covid-infected since January 13.
Both individuals were fined 2,000 GEL and were placed under mandatory quarantine in a Covid-hotel.
