Georgia received $188.2 million from abroad in March 2021, which is 49.5% more than the amount in March 2020, says the National Bank of Georgia.
Russia ($32.19 million), Italy ($31.51 million) and the United States ($24.13 million) were the largest remittance senders in March 2021.

Overall, the vast majority (94.7%) of all money transfers from abroad came from 19 countries.
Last month, remittances leaving Georgia totalled $24.9 million, as compared to $20.04 million in March 2020.
