Georgian capital of Tbilisi has become the victor of the recent online voting of Ireland’s low-cost airline Ryanair, as the best travel destination for 2020.
We just crowned Tbilisi as Ryanair’s 2020 destination face-off winner in our Stories", Ryanair posted on Instagram yesterday.
The voting was underway at Ryanair’s instagram story where Tbilisi has defeated Rome, Santorini, Paris, Mallorca and finally - Barcelona.
Recently Ryanair has also published an article about Georgia on its official webpage, calling Tbilisi “one of the fastest-growing, hippest capitals in Europe”.

Tbilisi is among 20 places to see in 2020 with Ryanair as well. In particular, Ryanair suggests Tbilisi as the best place to visit in July as "one of Eastern Europe’s fastest-growing tourist hotspots".

Having launched its first ever flights from Georgia to European destinations last November, Ryanair operates direct flights to Europe from Tbilisi and Kutaisi International Airport.
