Two individuals have been detained at a rally in Batumi earlier today in which the opposition and their supporters demand a meeting with the head of government of Adjara Autonomous Republic Tornike Rizhvadze.
The individuals have been detained in front of the governmental building for ‘disobedience to police and hooliganism.’
Protesters say that the region faces severe social problems and that Rizhvadze is unable to cope with them.
