Georgia has reported 1,791 new cases of coronavirus, of which 532 were registered in the capital city of Tbilisi, 369 in the Black Sea Adjara region and 392 in the Imereti region.
Other places where new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the past 24 hours are:
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 187 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 86 cases
- Shida Kartli - 62 cases
- Guria - 29 cases
- Kakheti - 57 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 56 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 21 cases
As for recoveries, 2,413 people recovered in the past 24 hours while the total number of recoveries has reached 25,104
How many people have died from coronavirus?
In total, 28 people died from coronavirus in Georgia in the past 24 hours. Deaths were reported in:
- Tbilisi - 10
- Adjara - 7
- Imereti - 7
- Shida Kartli - 2
- Kvemo Kartli - 1
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 1
Since February 26, the day when the coronavirus case was first registered in Georgia, the country has reported 335 death cases.
How many people are currently being treated for coronavirus?
As of today 15,262 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia, of which:
- 8,870 individuals are being treated at home
- 4,188 individuals are undergoing treatment in hospitals
- 3,007 individuals are in quarantine
- 2,204 individuals are in Covid-hotels
- 503 are severe patients
- 223 are on artificial ventilation
In total 29,565 individuals are in self-isolation.

A 15-year-old girl has died of coronavirus in Georgia today, clinical director of the First University Clinic Lali Turdzeladze has confirmed.
Georgia has reported 1,673 new cases of coronavirus, 2,881 recoveries and 22 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Georgia has reported 2,075 recoveries and 1,709 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours. 20 patients have died of the virus in the country in the past 24 hours.
