An armored cash collection vehicle has been attacked and robbed in Georgia’s Black sea town of Kobuleti today.

1TV.ge reports that the robber stole 50,000 GEL in cash.

Initially several media outlets reported that Bank of Georgia is the owner of the car.

The press office of the bank reported later that the car belongs to the company DDG, which provides technical support to the Bank of Georgia’s self-service terminal network.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated an investigation has been launched into the case.
