Rustavi 2 commissioned election polls: ruling party majoritarian candidates to receive above 50% of votes

The ruling Georgian Dream party candidates in six majoritarian constituencies would receive above 50% of votes if elections were held today, Rustavi 2 commissioned poll says.

The poll is based on 1,800 interviews conducted in the constituencies of Vake, Gldani, Rustavi, Poti-Khobi-Senaki, Mtskheta-Dusheti-Kazbegi-Tianeti and Sachkhere-Tchiatura-Kharagauli.

Vake majoritarian constituency:

  • Nodar Turdzeladze, Georgian Dream – 52.4%
  • Elene Khoshtaria, European Georgia – 33,2%
  • Nana Devdariani, Alliance of Patriots – 5.3%
  • Bidzina Gegidze, independent candidate – 4.1%
  • Levan Koberidze, Lelo for Georgia – 1.9%
  • Beka Natsvlishvili, Our Georgia – Solidarity Alliance – 1%

Gldani majoritarian constituency:

  • Levan Kobiashvili, Georgian Dream – 52.1%
  • Nika Melia, United National Movement – 36.6%
  • Merab Tchikashvili, Alliance of Patriots – 4.9%
  • Lasha Giorgadze, Our Georgia – Solidarity Alliance – 1.9%
  • Gigla Mikautadze, Lelo for Georgia – 1.5%

Rustavi majoritarian constituency:

  • Nino Latsabidze, Georgian Dream – 56.2%
  • Davit Kirkitadze, United National Movement – 30.2%
  • Irma Nadirashvili, European Georgia – 6.3%
  • Paata Jibladze, Alliance of Patriots – 4.6%
  • Grigol Gogelia, Lelo for Georgia – 1.5%
  • Gela Dzidzikashvili, independent candidate – 1.2%

Poti-Khobi-Senaki majoritarian constituency

  • Irakli Khakhubia , Georgian Dream – 64.4%
  • Murtaz Zodelava, United National Movement – 17.9%
  • Giga Bokeria, European Georgia – 8.5%
  • Davit Sarsania, independent candidate – 5%
  • Giorgi Baramia, Lelo for Georgia – 1.9%
  • Apolon Garuchava, independent candidate – 1.8%
  • Teimuraz Patchulia, Alliance of Patriots – 0.5%

Mtskheta-Dusheti-Kazbegi-Tianeti majoritarian constituency

  • Shalva Kereselidze, Georgian Dream – 52.1%
  • Tzezar Tchotcheli, United National Movement – 18.6%
  • Tamaz Metchiauri, For United Georgia – 11%
  • Beka Natelashvili, Labour Party – 8.9%
  • Soso Shatberashvili, Alliance of Patriots – 7.6%
  • Eka Beselia, For Justice – 1.2%

Sachkhere-Tchiatura-Kharagauli majoritarian constituency

  • Paata Kvizhinadze, Georgian Dream – 80.5%
  • Giorgi Kapanadze, United National Movement – 7.5%
  • Giorgi Kasradze, Alliance of Patriots – 4.6%
  • Rostom Tsartsidze, Free Georgia – 3%
  • Sergo Ratiani, Euroepan Georgia – 2.5%
  • Ani Mirotadze, Lelo for Georgia – 1.3%
  • Inga Zabakhidze, independent candidate – 0.6%

Rustavi 2 commissioned poll, which was carried out by British company Survation between September 12 and September 15, interviewed 1,800 people around the country.

Overall, the British company will interview a total of 9,000 people throughout the country in all of the election constituencies. Rustavi 2 will be publishing the relevant data gradually during the next two weeks.
