Police detain 4 drug dealers, seize large quantity of heroin, methadone

Police officers of the Main Division for Illicit Drug Trafficking have detained four drug dealers and seized a large quantity of drugs in Tbilisi and Marneuli municipality in eastern Georgia.
The detainees, identified only as I.P., A.M., N.V. and Z.Sh. have been accused of illegal purchase, possession and selling of drugs in especially large quantities systematically.
Heroin and methadone were seized by the law enforcers as evidence.
The crime is punishable by eight to 20 years in prison.
Law enforcers have detained one individual in Tetritskaro municipality, Kvemo Kartli region for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs, and seized a large quantity of drugs from the detainee’s car, says the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
