Law enforcers have detained one individual in Tetritskaro municipality, Kvemo Kartli region for the illegal purchase and possession of drugs, and seized a large quantity of drugs from the detainee’s car, says the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The detained individual has been identified as S.A., born in 1958.
Law enforcers stopped the detainee while driving in Tetritskaro municipality.
Police have seized 2.3 kilograms of narcotics including heroin, morphine and codeine from the car owned of the detainee.
The crime is punishable from eight to 20 years in prison or life imprisonment.
