Georgia reported 27 new cases of coronavirus earlier today, bringing the total number of cases to 566.
184 patients of the 566 have recovered, while six others have died.
As of today 374 remain infected with COVID-19 in Georgia.
5,320 people are under quarantine in the country and 548 others are in hospitals.
Head of the National Disease Control Centre Amiran Gamkrelidze says that Georgia has managed to contain the spread of the virus.
Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze stated yesterday that at least 1,000 individuals will be tested for COVID-19 in Georgia on a daily basis.

Georgia will use polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests in the process.
The cost of tests for COVID-19 are fully covered by the state and for foreign citizens as well if a doctor suspects the presence of the virus.
Director General of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases Tengiz Tsertsvadze says that Georgia may have an increase in coronavirus cases in the coming week and then figures will go down.
The country has already lifted several, coronavirus-related restrictions, including restrictions on the use of private vehicles.
