The Georgian wine variety of Ojaleshi Salkhino has been added to the list of protected Georgian appellation wines.
Ojaleshi Salkhino is a red dry wine from Martvili municipality in the western Georgian region of Samegrelo.

Until now, there were 20 Georgian appellation wines registered in Georgia Khvanchkara, Mukuzani, Tsinandali, Akhasheni, Gurjaani, Kindzmarauli, Manavi, Kakheti, Napareuli, Teliani, Ateni, Sviri, Vazisubani, Kardenakhi, Tibaani, Tvishi, Kvareli, Kotekhi, Saperavi Khashmi and Bolnisi.
Georgian wine producers have presented their wines at Vinexpo New York, which took place in New York on 2-3 March. Vinexpo New York is the largest trade event that focuses on the North American wine and spirits market.
Georgian wine producers participated in the international wine fair VinExpo 2020 in the capital of France, Paris. Chairman of the National Wine Agency Levan Mekhuzla said that showcasing Georgian wines at such exhibitions is crucial for finding new trading partners.
