Farmer of destroyed orchard receives 150 seedlings as a gift

A Georgian farmer whose apple orchard was totally destroyed by unknown persons last December, has received 150 apple seedlings as a gift, announces the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture.

Private farming company Complex-Argo provided farmer Aleksandre Kopadze with apple seedlings to restore the damaged orchard.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia is providing technical assistance to farmer.

With this support we not only help to restore the damaged orchard but give people faith and hope for the best”, said the First Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture, Giorgi Khanishvili.

Kopadze thanked the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture and local authorities for their support.
