Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili visited the French National Navy warship Commandant Birot, which entered the port in Georgia’s western coastal city of Batumi yesterday.
Zurabishvili said this port call “demonstrates the close partnership between France and Georgia”.
Black Sea security is a priority for Georgia and for the West. The port call in Batumi by the “Commandant Birot” is one new step toward this goal. I am proud to have toured this French ship, which demonstrates the close partnership between France and Georgia. ???????? ???????? pic.twitter.com/uOXcMnqp6n

'Commandant Birot' will end its port call on November 25, after a naval drill with Georgian border police personnel and special operative forces.
