Heavy rain has caused flood and landslides in Georgia’s black sea region of Adjara. About 60 calls were made to Georgia’s Emergency Service.
Most of the calls were mainly about flooding the first floors of yards and houses, the Emergency Service reports.
The heavy rain caused flooding of the river Mejinistskali, the nearby streets were flooded.
Citizens were evacuated throughout the night. The rescue boat, along with other equipment was involved in the evacuation process.
Georgia’s Emergency Service reports that two landslides have fallen in Adjara region.
No one was injured in the accidents.
