In January-September 2019, the top three airline companies by the number of passengers operating in Georgia are Wizz Air, Turkish Airlines and Georgian Airways, announces the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency (GCAA).

The top ten airline companies by the number of passengers operating in Georgia are the following:

  • Wizz Air – 592,988 passengers (15%)
  • Turkish Airlines – 443,932 passengers (11%)
  • Georgian Airways – 435,208 passengers (11%)
  • Ural Airlines – 190,341 passengers (5%)
  • Pobeda Airlines – 180,684 passengers (4%)
  • Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) – 168,672 passengers (4%)
  • Fly Dubai – 166,259 passengers (4%)
  • Pegasus – 135,494 passengers (3%)
  • Air Arabia – 107,535 passengers (3%)
  • SkyUp Airlines – 115,070 passengers (3%)

In January-September 2019 Georgian airline companies served 488,317 passengers (12 per cent), while foreign airline companies served 3,569,002 passengers (88 per cent).

In the first nine months of 2019 Georgian airports served 4,139,955 passengers in total.
