Tbilisi hotel Stamba is the winner of the People’s Choice Award at the Ahead Global Awards ceremony held in London, UK.
The award was voted on by public support.

Ahead Awards is one of the most prestigious and important marks of success in the hospitality and lifestyle industry around the world.
Stamba Hotel posted a video on its Facebook page, saying "waking up to amazing news! Extremely proud to have won Ahead Global Peoples’ Choice award 2019! Thanks to each and every one of you for your contribution and to our whole team for making this happen".
In November 2018, Stamba Hotel won the best New Concept of the Year at the Ahead Europe Awards 2018, which qualified the hotel to run for the Ahead Global Awards 2019.
Housed in one of Tbilisi’s most important 20th-century landmarks, a Soviet-era printing press, the Stamba Hotel takes on the spirit of the former publishing house by showcasing the brutalist splendor of the original structure, including rediscovered printing paraphernalia that has been imaginatively restored and repurposed.
