Professors of the Technical University of Munich German will be involved in the educational and scientific research process of Kutaisi International University, announced the Chairman of the Board of the Cartu Foundation Niko Chkhetiani yesterday.
The selection criteria for academic and administrative staff will be determined in accordance with the requirements of the Technical University of Munich.

Kutaisi International University (KIU), the first state university built in Georgia since the country restored its independence in 1991, has received its first intake of students today. So far KIU has three English-language programs for bachelor’s degrees – Management, Mathematics and Computer Science. Gakharia also mentioned that Kutaisi, which has always been a centre of Georgian science, culture and development, will also become an educational centre of the country.
