I am very proud that Georgia will host [this] championship. This is a big victory as well as a big responsibility… of course the development of infrastructure alone is not enough for Georgia to become a successful winter resort country. To achieve this goal it is important to raise the awareness of Georgia. I am very glad that over the last four years we have managed to double the number of tourists at our winter resorts … we need to implement large-scale investments to transform our resorts into destinations that meet high standards”, said Bakhtadze.
