Georgian police have detained one individual for falsifying tax documents in the region of Kvemo Kartli several days ago.
Police report that the detainee falsified a VAT (value added tax) invoice and bill of sale to show that he supplied materials worth 96,000 GEL ($30,664/€27,533) to several companies.
The detainee faces from two to four years in jail.
Earlier in July, Georgian police detained two for distributing counterfeit $100 bills.
The detainees brought the banknotes from Turkey and used them in the western region of Adjara.
