Firefighters have saved a 16-year-old girl in Gori, in the Shida Kartli region of Georgia today.
A fire broke out on the first floor of a residential building and locals called the emergency number 112. Firefighters, police officers and emergency brigades appeared at the scene without delay.
There was heavy smoke in the apartment. The firemen had to remove window grates to enter the flat.
They saw a teenage girl in the apartment and assisted her to leave the building without being injured.
The girl was hospitalised for a medical examination.
