Georgia and Uzbekistan will launch direct flights, head of Georgia’s United Airports of the Ministry of Economy Giorgi Chogovadze stated earlier today, after a meeting with the delegation of Uzbekistan Airways.
The Uzbekistan state airlines will carry out the flights twice a week, he said.
The first flight, Tashkent-Tbilisi-Tashkent, will take place on July 16 with an Airbus A 320 aircraft.
Uzbekistan Airways conducts flights in 58 directions worldwide.
Its fleet is composed of 31 planes.
