The Uzbek flag carrier will soon connect the capital cities of Uzbekistan and Georgia with new seasonal flights.
Uzbekistan Airways will start to operate flights on the route Tashkent-Tbilisi from July 16.
During the summer season flights will be performed twice a week on Tuesdays and Sundays by an Airbus 320 type aircraft.
Uzbekistan Airways was founded in 1992.
Nowadays the company performs regular flights to 40 different destinations. The company fleet includes 31 different types of aircrafts.
The French flag carrier Air France has made its inaugural flight from the French capital of Paris today, with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili being among its first passengers. Air France will be carrying out regular flights between Paris and Tbilisi twice a week until 23 October with an Airbus A 320.
