Turkish Airlines will launch operations to Tbilisi International Airport from Istanbul's new airport, announces the Georgian Civil Aviation Agency.
Starting from January 10, 2019 until the last month of March flights will be carried out every day of the week. This means that Turkish Airlines is increasing the flight frequency on the Istanbul-Tbilisi-Istanbul route from 30 to 37 flights per week.
Istanbul’s new airport was officially inaugurated in October this year. The new airport aims to establish itself as a major travel hub and a key player on the world aviation stage.
