Strong winds have caused a number of issues in the coastal city of Batumi in western Georgia today.
Several trees and commercial boards have been downed, trash cans and parking meters scattered and summer homes across the coast destroyed.

Winds blew two men off a roof of a house while they were trying to fix it.
One received minor injuries, while another is being treated in hospital.
Batumi Emergency Service has received 37 calls. Most of them concerned the damage of roofs.
One call was about the falling down of windows from a construction. The incident caused no damage to people, but only nearby houses.
The Georgian Interior Ministry says that they are investigating 17 incidents referring to the damage of cars and individuals due to the strong winds.
The ministry says that four individuals have received damages, whose lives are not at risk.
