Strong winds on Wednesday morning have caused a number of problems across Georgia from downed power lines to property damage.
Hundreds of families have been left without electricity after winds hit the capital Tbilisi and several regions in eastern Georgia, including Shida Kartli, Kvemo Kartli and Kakheti.
Energo-pro Georgia, the biggest energy company in the country, said that for now, energy supply has restored in all regional centres, but problems remain in some rural areas. It added that the company faced big financial losses.

The wind uprooted trees in Tbilisi and damaged several cars. Roofs were taken off of several houses.
Tbilisi Mayor Kakha kaladze asked local authorities to calculate the financial loss in a timely manner and "help citizens as much as possible”.
Bad weather caused flight delays at Tbilisi International Airport. One Turkish Airlines flight was postponed and another was canceled, according to the airport administration.
A magnitude-four storm took place across the Black Sea coastline.
Weather experts said the bad weather will last until the end of today.
