The passengers of a bus coming from Kazbegi Municipality and about 10 cars that encountered problems because of snow near Gudauri have already left the scene and departed for Tbilisi.
Groups of rescuers, crews of patrol and criminal police officers and employees of the Roads Department were watching over the road all day long.

Local government officials were also involved in the process.
Kobi-Gudauri road is closed at the moment due to severe weather conditions. Road cleaning work will begin once the weather is better.
