2019 declared year of cyber security in Georgian Armed Forces

Georgian Defence Minister Levan Izoria has declared 2019 as the year of cyber security in the Georgian Armed Forces.

Izoria made the statement today at the Cyber Security Bureau of the Ministry of Defence of Georgia in Tbilisi, when he hosted the Commander of the US Georgia National Guard, Major General Joe Jarrard.

Izoria thanked Jarrard and the US Georgia National Guard for their contribution to Georgian cyber security.

A wide-range of activities have been planned with the United States in the cyber security field,” Izoria said.

Izoaria stated that the activities include local and international trainings.
