Economic growth in Georgia is obvious… I think we can cooperate in various fields. The Prime Minister also noted that cooperation between small and medium sized business of the two countries is important. Economic ministers of the two countries should held meetings often. Our cooperation should become more intensive, we should share our experiences with each other”, said Merkel.
We welcome the activities of all German companies in Georgia. Along with successful projects, we have a desire to further develop bilateral cooperation more effectively, to see more German investment in Georgia and in parallel with large German companies to develop relationships between small and medium businesses”, said Bakhtadze.
It is a unique perspective and opportunity for German companies to increase trade not only with Georgia, but in general, with the entire region. It is important that with the German Chancellor are representatives of German companies in Georgia, which once again proves that interest towards Georgia’s economic potential is increasing”.
Today Deutsche Bahn is an official partner of Georgian Railway which means that the Georgian economy has gained a very strong and reliable partner on the EU territory”, Bakhtadze said.
