Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili has departed for Germany today to attend the Munich Security Conference which starts tomorrow.

Per its official webpage, the Munich Security Conference will be held from February 17- 9 and will host some of the most important decision-makers in the realm of international security policy.
Under the chairmanship of Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, around 500 leaders will debate current crises and future challenges to international security at the Munich Security Conference 2017”, the webpage says.
This year's conference agenda focuses on the future of transatlantic relations and NATO after the election of Donald Trump as the US President, the state of European cooperation in security and defense matters, relations with Russia as well as the war in Syria, the security situation in the Asia-Pacific and information warfare.
Georgian PM has scheduled several bilateral meetings within the framework of the 53rd Conference.
