Calling the meeting "very productive", Franke said it was "very focused on one target that we share with the government of Georgia”.

…Namely making the Munich Security Conference a platform that we offer as useful as possible for countries like Georgia, helping them to achieve very worthy foreign policy objectives”, Franke said.

He said the Munich Security Conference "cannot produce miracles” but it can offer "independent, neutral and very powerful global invisible platform” for the countries like Georgia "that is struggling and succeeding at the same time”.

We very much look forward to implementing all the ideas and creative solutions that we’ve thought about today and to welcome a prominent [Georgian] delegation back to Munich in 2018”, Franke said.

The Georgian delegation participates in the conference annually. Next year’s Munich Security Conference will be held in February.
