New mayor of Tbilisi names deputies

New Mayor of Tbilisi and former Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze has officially started his duties today and named four deputies.

Kaladze said he will name the fifth deputy soon, who will most likely be Ilia Eloshvili, who is now taking on  the position of energy minister. 

Eloshvili will join  us as soon as the procedures concerning the governmental reshuffle and structural changes are complete,” Kaladze stated.

Kaladze’s deputies are:

• Irakli Khmaladze, Vice Mayor of Tbilisi: he served as Kaladze’s deputy in the Energy Ministry.
• Maia Bitadze, former deputy head of the Ministry of Environment;
• Giga Nikolaishvili who served as the deputy of former Tbilisi Mayor Davit Narmania, he will retain his position.
• Irakli Bendeliani, former employee in the Ministry of Energy.
