Four new hotels to be opened in Goderdzi ski resort by 2020

Four new hotels will be built in Goderdzi, the newest of Georgia's four winter resorts on the slopes of the mountainous Adjara region.

Head of Adjara Autonomous Republic Government Zurab Pataradze laid the foundation to the following hotels today:

  1. Hotel GOLDMINE – 100 million GEL will be invested in building this 100-room hotel, where about 50 locals will be employed. Construction of the hotel will be completed in 2019.
  2. Hotel GSP GROUP – this will be a 104-room hotel, in which 2 million GEL will be invested and 30 locals will be employed. Construction is due to be completed in 2020.
  3. Hotel complex MOUNTAIN SKY – the 45-room hotel will be opened in 2019. The investment of the project reach 4 milllion GEL. 20 locals will be employed in the hotel.
  4. Hotel Irepalace – for building this 30-room hotel 2,400,000 GEL will be invested. 15 locals will be employed at the hotel that will be opened in 2020.

In total six new projects will be implemented in Goderdzi in which 80 million GEL will be invested. As a result 500 new job places will be created.
