The summer season is opening in Georgia's mountainous Goderdzi resort, transforming the winter wonderland into a hot summer destination.
Goderdzi ski resort is situated on a north-facing plateau, only a two-hour drive from the most popular seaside resort town of Batumi in western Georgia. It is a four-season mountain resort give both its location and infrastructure.
At an elevation of 2,000 metres, the Goderdzi mountains are snow-covered by an average 6-7m of snow between November and April.
Goderdzi ski resort opened in 2015, while its development started in 2011.
There are seven guesthouses, one hotel and an administrative building in Goderdzi.
