Georgia, Armenia look to intensify trade relations

"Georgia and Armenia have big potential for developing trade relations and we should use these opportunities as much as possible.”

Georgia’s Economy Minister Giorgi Gakharia said these words at a meeting with the Minister of Economic Development and Investment of Armenia, Suren Karayan in Armenia.

Gakharia also highlighted the importance of the Georgia-Armenia Business Forum that is taking place in Yerevan today.

In his words such forums are a good platform for establishing cooperation between the private sectors of both countries and for creating joint investment projects.

Besides trade, the two ministers also talked about the tourism sector which has been developing steadily between the two countries. The ministers said there was potential to achieve even more in tourism.
