Georgia appears at leading tourism fair in Germany

Georgia’s tourism agencies are spreading the word about things to see and do in Georgia at a leading international tourism fair in Frankfurt, Germany.

At one of world’s largest exhibition IMEX 2017 Georgia was represented by 11 tourism agencies, the Georgian National Tourism Administration and Department of Tourism and Resorts of Adjara.

Visitors of Georgia’s stand were invited to taste Georgian wine and dried fruit.

IMEX in Frankfurt is the efficient, one-stop-shop for planners looking to book and organise worldwide meetings, events and incentivize travel.

The event is committed to providing outstanding business opportunities for exhibitors and buyers alike.

Each year 3,500 exhibitors come to IMEX, including tourist boards, convention bureaus, international hotel chains, airlines and destination management companies).

They are poised to do business with the 9,000 visitors (including almost 4,000 hosted buyers) who attend during three energetic and very inspirational days.

Georgian National Tourism Administration and Georgian companies held over 450 meetings during the tourism fair.
