Georgia promoted at business tourism global event in Barcelona

Georgia’s tourism potential was promoted at IBTM World - the leading global event for meetings, incentives, conferences, events and the business travel industry, taking place in Barcelona, Spain.
The Georgian National Tourism Administration (GNTA) of Ministry of Economy participated in the event that was held on November 28-30.
During this time the GNTA made 15 presentations that highlighted Georgia’s tourism potential.
Within the IBTM World over 500 meetings was held at Georgia’s stand with the representatives from touristic companies form the European Union, United States and other countries.
The GNTA announced that these touristic companies were mostly interested in business tourism opportunities in Georgia.
The IBTM World gathered over 15,500 industry professionals this year.
Georgia’s vast tourism potential was put on display in Rimini, Italy, at the international tourism exhibition ‘TTG Incontri 2017’.
