Georgia’s business tourism potential was promoted at IBTM World, a leading global event for the industry of meetings, incentives, conferences, events and business travel hosted this week in Spain, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said on Friday.
The national body featured in the event, with the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Georgian region of Adjara and 13 companies from the country also in attendance.

Visitors of the fair were introduced to tourist products of Georgia, while the Administration also said business meetings with leading Spanish tourism companies had also been held within the event.

Over 100 representatives from Israeli airline companies, tour operators and media have been introduced to Georgia’s business tourism potential in a presentation by the Georgian national tourism administration, the national body announced on Tuesday.
The Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the Georgian National Tourism Administration has presented the country’s business tourism potential at M&I Europe Spring 2022, one of the largest international forums in the field.
Georgia’s tourism potential was promoted at IBTM World - the leading global event for meetings, incentives, conferences, events and the business travel industry, taking place in Barcelona, Spain.
Georgia has been named the best place for arranging international events, and recognised for offering top conditions for foreign visitors to combine their business trip and leisure.
The Convention and Exhibition Bureau of the Georgian National Tourism Administration featured in 17 international business tourism fairs hosted in 13 countries this year to promote the country’s potential in the industry, the state agency said on Monday in the end-of-year summary of its work.
Media entertainment professionals from across the world are in Georgia for the inaugural edition of the Tbilisi International Content Show, where TV and digital media products are showcased and deals agreed between industry professionals between Wednesday and Thursday.
American producer Bill Diamond on Thursday said the Tbilisi International Content Show gave visiting professionals of the media industry the opportunity to be introduced to the Georgian “experience, culture, cuisine and touristic locations” this week.
