Media entertainment professionals from across the world are in Georgia for the inaugural edition of the Tbilisi International Content Show, where TV and digital media products are showcased and deals agreed between industry professionals between Wednesday and Thursday.
Hosted in the eastern city of Tsinandali, the event is also seen to be laying the foundation for the implementation of “important international projects”, creation of “quality content” and sharing of international experience, the Georgian National Tourism Administration said.

The Show was opened by the GNTA Head Maia Omiadze, who said such “large-scale” events were helping the development of business tourism in the country. She noted the Content Show was bringing together about 50 film professionals and traditional and digital media figures.
We support all similar international events that will promote the development of business tourism. We believe that Georgia has the opportunity to take a worthy place in the MICE tourism sector and become a country that will be a meeting point for business people”, Omiadze said.
Participants of the event include representatives of companies like Paramount Global Content Distributions, New Regency and Sony Pictures.
