Georgia showcases tourism potential at Paris industry event

Georgia’s potential in hosting conferences, exhibitions, meetings and incentives were showcased at this year’s Pure Meetings & Events, an gathering of the industry of event organising hosted in Paris on Monday.

The Georgian national tourism administration said the event had enabled its convention and exhibition bureau to hold meetings with representatives of about 250 French companies and associations operating in business tourism.

The bureau representatives also sat down with other potential customers of the meeting industry at the gathering in the French capital that brought together over 100 European destination management organisations, hotels, convention bureaus and airlines.
