Tbilisi Zoo welcomes baby Zebra

Tbilisi Zoo is celebrating the birth of a baby zebra.

The newborn was born in Tbilisi Zoo six days ago. Zoo officials said the baby zebra was healthy and doing well.

The baby zebra has already made its first public appearance to Zoo visitors. The zebra’s name has not yet been announced, nor has its gender.

This was the fifth zebra to be born at Tbilisi Zoo.

Tbilisi Zoo director Zurab Gurielidze noted another baby zebra was due to be born in the near future.
